The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a motivated and people-focused Internal Recruiter / HR Advisor to join their passionate team. In this dual-role, you’ll play a key part in attracting top talent, while also delivering essential HR support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. What You’ll Be Doing
Volume recruitment (85% of your time)

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes — from crafting job ads to onboarding new hires.
  • Volume screening and interviewing to identify passionate, talented Youth Workers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interview logistics to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Maintain our applicant tracking system and recruitment databases.
  • Assist with employer branding initiatives to showcase our client as a top employer in the youth sector.
  • Stay current with recruitment trends and best practices.
Human Resources (15% of your time)
  • Support general HR functions - including onboarding, employee relations, documentation, and performance processes.
  • Provide day-to-day HR admin support, ensuring compliance and accuracy in employee records.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in volume recruitment within the community services sector
  • Previous experience in recruitment or HR support roles
  • Solid knowledge of HR practices, employment policies, and sourcing techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A formal qualification in HR preferred
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms, HR software, and Microsoft Office
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
