Employee of the Month: Jessica 💙.

At Be Recruitment, we’re lucky to work alongside some truly exceptional people, and this month, we’re proud to recognise Jessica as our Employee of the Month.

Jessica consistently shows up for her clients with warmth, thoughtfulness, and genuine care. The way she builds trust, creates safe spaces, and connects on a human level is a real reflection of the values we stand for as a team.

We recently asked Jessica a little more about what drives her, how she connects with clients, and what support work means to her.

Building connection, one moment at a time

When asked about her favourite activity to do with clients, Jessica’s answer was simple – and deeply telling.

“My favourite activity to do with a client is going on a drive together. Listening to good music, chatting and enjoying the view can be incredibly grounding. It’s often in these moments that my relationships with my clients deepen and I get to know them on a more meaningful level.”

It’s these everyday moments, not always structured or planned, is where Jessica creates connection, safety, and trust. Our clients often tell us how comfortable they feel in her presence, and it’s easy to see why.

Supporting real, meaningful goals

Jessica is currently supporting a client who is navigating disordered eating – work that requires patience, consistency and a deep understanding of the individual.

“I’m supporting them to build a consistent eating routine and make healthier food choices.”

It’s quiet, important work that doesn’t always come with quick wins, but Jessica approaches it with care, respect and persistence – always meeting her clients where they are.

Looking after herself so she can show up for others

Support work can be emotionally demanding, and Jessica is very intentional about looking after her own well-being.

“After a long shift, I wind down by taking a long shower, calling a friend or family member, and reading a good book. I really cherish my ‘me’ time – taking care of myself helps me show up more grounded and resilient for others.”

It’s a reminder that sustainable care starts with self-care – something Jessica models beautifully.

A little fun outside of work

Outside of shifts, Jessica is currently binge-watching Heated Rivalry (and loving it), and when it comes to food, her values shine through again.

“To me, the perfect meal is nourishing, full of flavour and shared. Food doesn’t just fuel our bodies; it also offers comfort and connection.”

Words of wisdom for future support workers

When asked what advice she’d give to someone entering the sector, Jessica summed up the heart of support work perfectly:

“Step into your client’s shoes when deciding how to respond and support them. Every person carries a unique story and personality that shapes who they are today. Take the time to learn and understand that person. Show up each day with kindness, empathy and a smile. Clients can tell when you’re being genuine, so be yourself.”

Thank you, Jessica

Jessica, thank you for the care, professionalism, and heart you bring to your role every day. The way you represent Be Recruitment with our clients does not go unnoticed and we’re incredibly grateful to have you on the team supporting our clients.

Congratulations on being our Employee of the Month – so well deserved. 🌟
